Anyone on here every got a bobcat or 'yote with a bow? Seems like that would take some real serious skill....



Well, word on the street (and in deer camp) is that Dennis has been hittin the gym hard!

One time Tad... I shot a bobcat with a crossbow years ago. It wasn't a huge cat, I pretty much gut shot it and it ran a few feet under a brush pile. After dark I got down to retrieve my prize. Shined my light under a log and saw two eyes glowing at me. It was a bit spooky, I wasn't sure if it was dead or pissed. After pokin it a bit with a stick, I finally got the nerve to go in after it. Luckily it was dead! I hit it behind the rib cage and nearly cut it in half.

I took several pics as the bobcat came in. I saw him at around 30 yards and lip squeaked and he came in to a laser ranged distance of 22 yards. He came a little closer before he disappeared in the grass.
