The American Rifleman magazine has an article on the Bond Bullpup 9mm semi-auto pistol---one strange action from a company noted for derringers. Instead of stripping the round from the magazine into the chamber on the forward motion of the slide, it pulls the round from the magazine on the rearward stroke of the slide and THEN pushes the round into the chamber going forward. It also has a rotating barrel. Bond bought the design from Boberg. Here are a couple of links:

Doesn't the rohrbaugh 9 mm use the same design?
My buddy bought one of those. Took him about 200 rounds of ammo to get anything to cycle reliably, and then it was iffy.
He still has it in the safe and an XD to replace it.

I think that Remington bought out Rohrbagh and makes it now. Don't know about the action.
