I am a member of the California bar and have been for 30+ years.
Conservative and middle of the road California bar members are completely fed up with the bar association. The bar association was largely captured by lefties long ago, and given up as a lost cause by all others. Arguing that someone who is committing a crime by their presence should be allowed to practice law is typical.
Every time I read such idiocy, I give thanks that I moved to OK.

A lot of us don't deserve this kind of thing and it is sad to see.
It is however a bit re-assuring that many of those who do deserve the terrible things that come of this sort of insanity, will be swimming in it.
