Can someone suggest a reputable fire wood seller

Looks like my local Hickory dealer has retired. Can anyone suggest a reputable guy who sells truly seasoned hickory for the fireplace and backyard smoker.

I am looking for a local (Tulsa, Broken Arrow) area dealer.

I'm no connoisseur, but I've used this guy and he's a pretty straight shooter. Wood seems good, but again, what do I know?

I don't know if he carries hickory as I always bought red oak from him but you might try Kelly Deeds (mobile 557-4279). I haven't burned wood in a few years but was happy with him when I did and several of my friends were using up to at least last year, don't know if they've ordered yet though.

I've used Action Firewood with good results, but I wasn't looking for hickory.

don't know of anyone that offers seasoned hickory
postings for hickory on craigslist don't last long
missed out on the last few offerings...

finally scored about a cord of Hickory from a tree take down job a buddy of mine did.
it was a healthy tree, so all green ...should be ready by spring to smoke some BBQ

I'm looking for a good source for seasoned firewood (doesn't have to be hickory-just not crap wood with sap) too but around the OKC-ish area. Anyone know of any good around here? Last place I went to claimed it was seasoned but clearly was just split the other day.

some sellers split the wood at Tulsa's green dump for free
then sell it immediately and claim it to be seasoned

nothing wrong with doing that of course... just don't call it seasoned
Tulsa is really lucky to have a free green waste dump

get all the wood you want for free ... don't see what you want
be patient ... wait a few minutes and someone will drive up with a trailer load of it.
