When I was a kid, we really did use a Sears Catalog in the outhouse. Let me tell you, it wasn't a pleasant thing what with the heat, smell, potential spider bites(I always had that fear) and tearing a page out of the catalog when finished. The corregated tin outhouse was a bad experience and not one of my favorite childhood memories.
