CCL & OSDA to open carry ?

I just read a post on another forum about a fella that was talking to a State Trooper today.....the Trooper told him that in order to open carry in Nov. (not that I currently plan to) you have to have a OSDA license along with a CCL....that correct ?

I thought all you had to have was a valid CCL.

Effective November 1, 2012, Self-Defense Act License holders will be legally
allowed to carry their handguns in a concealed or unconcealed manner.

A SDA License is a CCL in Oklahoma.

If you want one of the new licenses and already have a CCL, you can just pay the $15 replacement fee and get one of the new licenses sent to you with your old license's expiration date on it. Otherwise, as cowzrul wrote... your CCL will simply become a Carry license.
