Well you got the title mostly right. Could have added state & local laws into the mix and you would have nailed it.
McCarthy is burned out. When someone begins making appeals inside churches in a radical way, you will begin to see their "issues" boiling to the top of their personal lives. This guy is a time bomb and it won't be long before you see more about this guy. Certain people (whether liberals or conservatives) will just never "see" gun owners as law abiding 2nd amendment exercisers for the thoroughly trained, background checked, accountable law abiders they are.
