I think I'll stick with 35 degree brews poured into a 10 degree glass. 50 and 60 degree beer doesn't appeal to me.

a good beer is good at any temperature 75 and below

Keep a CO2 Fire Extinguisher handy for just this occasion. Works pretty good too...

Lot of dang work to go to to cool a couple of beers.

And though the method is a very good demonstration of some basic science used in refrigeration equipment I am hard pressed to see any practical use for the unique method and materials chosen.

Sticking to the fridge is in my future. Building an electric fridge with sand and clay pots will not be - in my future that is.
