I always try and use the correct nomenclature when communicating. The words we use are critical in making clear and concise statements to insure others understand exactly what we’re trying to say. That’s why I don’t call revolvers pistols and magazines clips. NOW!!! I couldn’t give a rats hind end what words you choose to use and last I checked I hadn’t been nominated as the “word police”. My plate is plenty full dealing with my own day’s problems and I sure don’t need to insert myself into yours. Some of you guys need a hobby

Well all I can say is the Savage model 840 I have uses a removeable metal box that holds 3 rounds of 30-30 Winchester ammo. But oddly both of those devices, made by Savage, are stamped on the side CLIP for 30-30 Win and one other round I cant think of for sure, it may be a .280, but I would not want to say that for fear of some skeery sounding folks on here.
