I think tonight and in the morning will be some good hunting. There is a cold front moving in so right before it gets here should be a good time to sit in them stands!
they do tend to move a little more in advance of a front. Gonna be a weak front, but anything will help.

Some people put great stock into the moon phases.
Myself, I've never paid much attention to them.
It would be fun to keep a journal and follow the phases and see how it worked out.
I think the pre-rut's in swing. I had three does and a nice 8-point come by the stand behind me this morning. The buck was chasing the does and grunting. They were only 16-17 yards but there was no way to get a shot. Nice to see the activity though.
It thundered and rained a little on me this evening, but just like last night, the deer came in right before dark.
yea, i had deer come in on me about 645pm last night. Doe a fawn, and one other deer i could not make out. It got dark quickly. I have not seen any chasing activity yet, still to early.
