Back when I first joined, and in my signature, I mentioned that I do all my hunting with my cameras. Someone suggested that I post some photos of my "trophy" animals.
Well, better late than never, lets try a few. I'm still learning to use Photobucket and posting into forum threads, so today is primarily experimental in nature.
While these three were taken in Yellowstone in 2002, most everyone knows it isn't that hard to get photos of "wild" animals there.
Bison: Taken while standin in the passenger side of a full sized van with my torso out of the window. This gentleman obliged me by walking up an embankment near where our vehicle was located.
Two shots of Elk. We were near a meadow with 3 bulls and a cow feeding across the meadow. Since we were in an area away from a crowd of folks taking pictures, the Elk kept feeding towards us. They just kept getting closer and REALLY making my day.
Quite a bit closer with a younger buck. This one had an ear tag, so meet Yellowstone Elk #13.
Hope you all like them. I LOVED taking these, especially since they were still there when we left.
