Mine had wire baskets in it. Steaks in one, roasts in one, pork in one, hamburger and chicken in boxes stacked in the bottom. Bagged veggies and fruits just piled in there. My ex couldn't organize her way out of a wet paper sack so it got out of whack early and often.

Looks like my random stash in the chest freezer is

2x 10# ground beef
4x ~10# pork loin
6x ~3.75# drumsticks
2 whole chicken
40 steamer packs asst veggies
11 2x servings asparagus
1 6# ham
1 4.5# roast
4x 2# bags tater tots
1 8# pork butt
8x ~1# packages bratwurst
2 packages smoked ribs
8x ~1# ribeye
35# porkchops
1x 1# bacon wrapped hamburgers
2x 1# bacon
3x ~1.25# breakfast sausage

I guess I'm ok for a while. There's more qty and variety than I thought. Way too much pork lol

The big stuff goes well on end so they're tall (10# ground beef/pork loins). Stuff I have a bunch of (drumsticks) did good in a stack.
All the steamer bags fit well on the hump where the compressor and such is underneath and the rest is now grouped together.

Try to create "columns" of like cuts of meat. Something like hamburger say to the left side, followed by various steak types and roasts. Then, when you open the freezer, you can see how much there is of that "category" of meat.
This, unless you just did a chicken butcher and the freezer is full of chicken.
