Always chambered. Maybe this is a poor comparison, but I've only owned manual transmission vehicles my whole life. Considering that I've probably shited the transmission hundreds of thousands of times. Now if I'm at a light and get distracted I've at times (not very often) dumped the clutch and killed the car when I realize that the light is green. Way I see it is my guess is few people practice pulling/racking a firearm more then I shift and just the minimal stress of making another car miss the light is enough to cause me to make a mistake. Then compare that stress to that of a life or death event...I want everything as KISS as possible.
