duck stamp question

I have a lifetime hunting licence and I would like to hunt duck/geese this year. I never have hunted these before.
Do I need to buy a Federal duck stamp? I thought with the lifetime license you were exempt.

Yes, you have to get the federal duck stamp. You also have to get the state stamp.

i believe the state stamp is included in the lifetime.page 4 of the waterfowl regs.paragraph 3 b.
under exempt "ODWC resident lifetime hunting or combination license holders"

Yep - HIP and Fed Duck Stamp (signed and affixed to the back of your HIP I guess?) are all that's required if you have your lifetime hunting license.

thanks for the info. The oklahoma dept. of wildlife website has been down. I will try for the HIP online tomorrow and stamp at the post office.

You can also get the stamp at Academy, Walmart etc.
