Dunkirk

I don't go to the theater often, but I went Friday to see this one. The story is from the perspective of 3 men. An interesting way to tell the story or so I thought. I didn't leave the theater thinking Wow! That was great. But, it was, IMO good. I especially liked the air combat and the final scene.

I would think that someone without an understanding of the context and effects of the "Miracle of Dunkirk" might not really appreciate it.

I wouldn't give it the greatest of all time rating, but I thought it good enough to recommend seeing in the theater.

Did everyone else have to set through that stupid Al Gore infomercial on the environment.. Makes me think about ever going to a theater to see another movie.

How dis orientating are the flashbacks? Are they anything like the wandering minds of those in the "Thin Red Line"? I actually got up and walked out after 40 minutes on that one

Is it uplifting as any story of Dunkirk should be?

Thin Red Line was hard to follow. It could have been a really good movie...
