I know that, again, easier ways to do it other than hacking on the average car. That’s my point. Yes cars have been hacked, RAM had quite the issue for a bit.What we’re trying to tell you is that pretty much ALL new cars have an “implanted device”. Almost all car manufacturer are trying to move to a subscription service model for recurring revenues.
I don’t buy cars with remotely accessible crap built in. It’s amazing what will happen when far more refuse to do so.
Real question, why in the world would you buy a car with onstar if you are concerned about this? That makes no sense.
