We had blackened mahi-mahi/dolphin and sautéed shrimp tonight. Costco had the Mahi at $8.99 a lb. We had the same last week but from Publix and the Mahi was $12.99 per lb.
Yesterday evening, I fried some Salt Fork channel cat filets I caught with fried squash I grew, some morels I picked, and store bought hushpuppies for my son and daughter in law.
I never considered using fried squash for bait. I just eat all I can get.
Son can fend for himself. D-i-L is welcome.
Headed to Lake, today. Hope to be having fresh fish, soon. Wif's favorite meal is fried catfish. I believe she could have catfish once a day, every day and not get tired of it.
