No wrong color. Since he is in Muskogee I am going with the local variety of kingsnake. Non-poisonous and good to have around for rat and mouse control.

So are cats.

I killed one that looked just like that in our pantry... i couldn't get a good look at the little fella and with the wife screaming in my ear, i didn't have much choice but to shoot it...
