Gas prices on the climb.

15.28 gallons of gas this morning, $60.50. insane, this is the 3rd increase this week.

Reports are saying that producers are cutting back production, world supplies are drying up while demand remains strong, and estimates are $5 a gallon by fall.

Add to the ever increasing prices in utilities and food, this is going to be a rough second half. Hang on tight folks.

Gas at the OnCue about three-quarters of a mile from my house went up 46 cents a gallon for E10 last week. It was $2.99 Monday. $3.45 Friday. I'm sure pure gas is over $4.00. And, I need to fill up, of course!

like from the first few days that joe took office he has been selling the strategic oil reserve that you know whoo filled up to the brink. i think the number is somewhere around 29 billion barrels of oil. that drove down the price of oil and also brought down the cpi so that the inflation numbers wouldn't look so bad. well guess what? the reserves are about empty so the effect will be higher energy prices....

The "oil producing countries" agreed to drop production. That's the blurb I heard this morning and I haven't been paying attention lately.
