I remember the first time I went deer hunting.... sat in a tree for 3 hours and it was in the low 20's, about 80% humidity and 25 mph north winds and we were in the woods long before sun up. Yah, it was FUN!

Take a magazine with you. The sitting can be a real drag... but those few minutes of adrenaline are worth the hours of silence.
I'll probably take the book I borrowed from BB on curing meat.

Enjoy your time in the woods. Usually a lot to see it you pay attention. My favorite thing (next to a large buck in my crosshairs) is the sound of birds wings flapping as they fly near you.
