Good Deal on CCI Copper Plated .22LR

Gander Mountain is selling 300 packs of CCI "Tactical" copper-plated .22LR ammo for $24.99 with free shipping or just a tad over 8 cents per round - which I consider a good deal nowadays.

Copper plated is hard to find as is the decent higher velocity .22LR. Limit is one per person and I just ordered one - i says in stock and with free shipping 6-7 business days for delivery.

I just found a new gun shop in my area that is carrying the CCI mini mag for just under .07 a round no limit. Bought 5, left some for others. I keep wondering why I leave some for others when all I see is folks clearing the shelf.

I need copper plated ammo mostly due to my .22LR pistols which seem to periodically choke on the LRN ammo. I also need fairly high velocity ammo to properly cycle the action. My 22 rifles don't seem as picky.

I actually found .22 two days in a row at Walmart in Stillwater. I should have gone and bought a lottery ticket afterward.
