We've had two does come through this morning, no bucks. Cameras have been soaking for a week but we won't check them till this afternoon. Just heard our first shot in the distance.
Most of our entertainment is squirrels, Jays and crows this morning. We have some very testy squirrels out here this morning.
Nothing but dinks and does for me this morning.
I was covered up in does and small bucks from first light till about 9:30, saw 14 deer total, 1 120ish 8 point, no shooters but it was a fun morning.
Lol, no doubt, I just finished mowing the 2 acres, having a cold one right now, I should have gone out to the stand in shorts and boots, always wanted to do that. Good luck!
Saw 8 this morning. 7 doe. 1 button buck from first light until about 830. Went back out at 330pm. One doe at 430. At 545 started grunting a couple of times and an 8 comes crashing through the woods. Dropped him at 45 yards.
Not sure how you got to the crashing phase so fast. Our bucks are all still night movers. Only the rare glimps during the day. We are really struggling this year. we had two in the bag this time last year.
