Got out a trap line today.

Good looking set Dennis. I usually pile the grass or cedar limbs on top of the trap and door, making sure they don't hang the door up. Then I keep a ziplock bag of goose breast feathers and throw some of them in the brush on top of the trap to blow around and get the cats attention. Break a forked stick off pencil size or smaller and stick the long end down in the lure and then poke it down through the top of the trap.

Never did get the lure....yet. My trapping buddy ordered some yesterday, so we will have some next month when getting some more time off.

Appreciate the tip on using the lure
The landowner I've been trapping on does not want any cats trapped. He has callers wanting to come out, so will have to find another place to trap the cats.

Not with the lure, but have had a good week on the coons, etc.

Ended up with 13 coons, 9 possums, and I can't remember how many skunks.
Had to be 10+.
My buddy called me a few minutes ago. He ran the traps he has on his place, and got two possums, and two skunks.
