Our fringe is disturbing on so many levels. Just as disturbing is the fact that many of us refuse to acknowledge that they exist. Some folks go so far as to declare that attacks like this are just false flag operations.
Not everyone one who owns a gun and displays the Gadsen flag is on our side.

It is important to remember and note that Robert Wilcox, a law abiding concealed carrier gave his life trying to stop these two nut-jobs, and was described as a hero by the police. We need to shun the nut-jobs and focus on practical and non-confrontational ways to advance gun rights and ditch the "loose cannon" image wackos like this have stuck us with.
As tragic as the Las Vegas murders are it'll have to get a lot worse (mass murder probably) before the anti 2A people are able to generate enough steam to challenge gun rights again. Anyway, the left is too busy defending Hilary for Benghazi, Bergdahl for desertion and the PotUS in general right now.
The answer to gun banners who cite these murders as a reason to take away gun rights is Robert Wilcox, a lawfully armed citizen who gave his life trying to defend others. Robert Wilcox.
RIP Robert Wilcox. May we all learn to be more situationally aware and not let the tunnel-vision consume us should the need arise to defend ourselves or others. A threat in view may be one of several we don't see. Damn.
