It has taken me a while to do, but I have the blacksmith's forge up and running. I have been running through many different style's of knifes and I do think I have found a knife worth making and worth having. I've taken railroad spikes and made knifes out of the ends of them, leaving the heavy heads on. They are a little on the weighted side but have a good feel to them. With a normal down ward strike they will stick about an inch into a good ceder stump. They will also go through a 55 gallon metal drum like butter. I still need to clean and polish them up and put an edge on them. Sorry I just couldn't help but brag a bit. I will try to put some pics up as soon as I can.
