My wife worries about me getting seriously hurt every time I come to my place up there (over 500 miles from home), but I figure if it’s my time to go I can’t think of a better place for it to happen.

That's true, though if I died on my lease, someone would need to find me within a few hours before the hogs did.

Went out to move a ladder stand on one of my TX places and had a little accident...

I got it wrapped up with what I had in my Ranger and finally got to look at it when I got back home. It’s not too bad.

Glad it wasn't worse! My biggest concern while hunting alone is being hurt seriously. I don't have cell phone coverage and there's no hospital nearby.

Same here. I have a clotting agent and a small first aid kit I keep in my backpack.
