have a glock question

i bought a glock 22 from a friend but on the case it said m-22? whats the difference between a m22 and a g22 if any? i thaught all glocks were g series it looks exaclty the same as a g22 so could it be a typo? so far noone can give me a answer not even the local gun store. Thanks

From my understanding is the M22 is the 22lr trainer pistol that Glock puts out.. If your pistol is the 22lr then you have the M22... If yours is the 40. cal model then you have the G22 model... If this is the case then your friend could of got the cases mixed up and is not a big deal.. Or the factory could of messed up...
