Howdy & welcome to the clubhouse!!
+1 for Big Boys!
Welcome aboard! Take advantage of all the (good) training you can get!
Welcome, and I second the motion to go ahead and get your Oklahoma handgun license.
I've thought about doing that just so I could carry when I travel out of state. I'm also looking into getting a Virginia or Arizona non-resident permit just b/c it sounds like from some of the posts on here OSBI takes forever to approve applications.
Wilshire gun is decent as well !! Will second the Big Boys, great bunch at that joint.
If you do take the class, try and find one that provides .22 semi-autos, or if you don't have one see if someone will lend you one
New unknowing shooters buy Taurus, do yourself a favor and find a good deal on a smith and Wesson or pony up and buy the #1 carried gun, Glock..
Friends don't let friends buy a Taurus..... Ruger also makes some quality pistols that are economical - like the EC9.
And money spent on professional training is well spent.
Yes to training at Wilshire.
No to Taurus for a self defense gun.
I've also been looking at the S&W Shield and the Ruger EC9. Just want the best I can get while spending under $300
