I'm originally from this part of Ohio and all the folks are pretty nice and friendly around there. Not surprised that this story happened there. That the sports authority did not do the PC thing and disqualify them both for helping the wounded runner says a lot for the kind of people that Ohio has. It's my second or third favorite place to live or visit, with OK being at the top of the list of course!
As a runner, I found this to be pretty great. It is amazing to see how helpful and concerned runners are with each other in longer races. The longer they get, the more support I seem to see.
Classy act and a feel good story. Love it.
