I agree. I've got several "match grade" high end barrels. After the first few shots to foul the bore, they shot just as well after a hundred rounds down the pipe as they did when new.I agree. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around the use of a copper brush and patches clearing barbs and flaws from hardened steel better than a supersonic projectile.
I'll clean because I like to keep my guns clean. Will stay away from the copper brush and go with the nylon brush for preference.
