Ideas on how to carry extra rounds with shotgun for home?

I thought about buying a shell holder pouch to grab quickly but was wondering what other setups are being used to have extra rounds for your nightstand shotguns?

I know this wont help you for what your wanting but just throwing it out there, i use one of these for carrying extra 12 ga each pouch will hold 3 rounds so you can have 30 rounds conveniently on you. My dad used one for years and i finally started wearing one when in the field.

I’ve actually never thought about adding an ammo carrier to my HD shotgun, because I figure if I go through all 9 rounds in my Benelli and need more I am probably screwed anyway.

I use the Esstac Velcro cards. Typically with a shotgun or most any gun, you’re going to fight with what is in or on the gun in a defensive scenario.

Agreed. If my 8+1 590 can’t get it done I will need to run back to the gun safe and call in an air strike. Or at least a predator with a few hellfires.

Although for HD a decent plastic would probably be fine. Plus, select a slug.
