It's just entertainment, not accurate, and depends on their databases and mathematical models, which are constantly changing.

With what is qualifying as famous these days, that's probably a good thing. My sister did our family history the old fashioned way through genealogy. Actually published two hardback books about it for distribution to the family.
I won't do it, but just wonder if the current DNA tests would back up or dispute her findings. (nobody famous in our history)
There is famous and there is infamous.......With what is qualifying as famous these days, that's probably a good thing.
Somebody is suspicious.I know of someone that is big into ancestry. They got themselves and their spouse, plus their children, DNA kits for Christmas.
I'm thinking WTF!
If you know you and your spouses ancestry through DNA and you are both the biological parents of your children, why would your children need to have their DNA checked???
I asked them why they would also pay to have their childrens DNA tested and they just looked at me with a blank look on their face like "Why wouldn't we?".Somebody is suspicious.
