It will work but for the price of ammo for a couple of days at the range with the boy you can do much better and save a lot over time. Check out the reloading section here on OSA. Lot of very experienced and helpful people here. And since you're close to Tulsa check out Jerry's Outdoors on 51st street. I think they have classes -- free.

That will not work to reload for your AR, as it neck sizes only. You will need an actual press and dies to full length size the brass. It can pay for itself in a hurry though.
We buy cheap steel cased stuff. $6 a box of 20.

I'v never shot the steel case stuff... any problems with sticking rounds due to the coating?
