Japan - Before and After?

Found this on another site.

Supposedly aerial shots of areas before and after the earthquake. I'm a little skeptical about whether they are all legit or not.

I don't see anything particularly illegitimate about them.

Like the first photo, Sendai Airport. The whole concrete slab is gone, but the runway is still there. And the loading platforms for the airplanes are still there also.

I guess the dates of the photos could clarify stuff like that. Maybe it was decommissioned or something and stuff was removed.

Saw something similar on CNN this morning. It looks real to me. I don't know why anyone would lie about it.

Looks like the concrete slab is just covered in dirt and mud to me.

That is pretty cool to be able to see the before and after like that. I agree with Bhuddhaman - looks like dirt covering the concrete...

It is real, and JUST dirt and mud! The entire "Island" Sunk 2 feet and moved 13 feet closer to California in the process, I am pretty sure its a bit more than just dirt and mud.
