seems like there's always a guy selling "solvent traps" at the gunshows these days.
whatever happened to places like Diversified Machine getting raided? i think that's when i stopped paying attention to the whole Form 1 thing.

Fat vet or whatever he calls himself is buying that junk off wish/alibaba and is not good for much more than 22. Made in China of unknown quality metal.
Buys them for $2.00 to 40.00 and sells $50 to 400
There's some made in Okla. of stainless and titanium that are decent. they run $375 and up.

Each can requires its own stamp, yes.

Form 1 cans are not cheaper than production cans, but your stamp will come in quicker (my last one was 12 days) and you have more control over the materials and design. Most commercial cans are designed to be okay with supersonic and okay with subsonic ammo. With a form 1 can you can design it to be a purpose driven can.

Also, I have 6 kids and we like to shoot together so it's nice to have multiple cans available when possible.

After some I have looked at they are significantly cheaper than name brand cans. Especially quiet bore. The 9mm can is under $300. So about $500 for the can and the stamp. But then they sell a jig to drill it out for $75 and they sale the booster and piston for right under $200. So with all that you are correct. If you didn’t buy those items it would be significantly cheaper. But i will be using it on multiple rifles and pistols so I need the piston and booster. Also, theirs is made in the USA and they tell exactly what they are made of.
