She is the most timid spider I've hosted. She shakes the web and takes a long time before she finally gets her meal. Most in the past jump right on it.

I know those are supposedly good spiders, but if I run into one of those at night, I'll probably have a stroke and/or beat myself unconscious.

Yes, good spider. I’ve walked into webs in the darkness while walking to the deer blind in the past. Some of the dance moves should’ve be patented.
Now, I carry a stick to wave in front of me to take the webs down. Never use a flashlight when walking in.
Those ones that build webs between trees, I call em ‘cedar spiders’. Hate those suckers sat 5am!
