I’ve cleaned and eaten a bunch, and in my opinion, they’re not good. I know people that swear they taste good, but I’ll never clean another one.

They are terrible. I wouldn’t waste my time at all, lol.

This is going to cause the state to push for one of two things. Either state agent only eradication or they'll make them a game species and charge for the license or tags.
California charges for feral hog tags and Texas requires a small game license to hunt them.

As mentioned Kansas and Nebraska both outlawed sport hunting and have successfully kept them out solely for that reason.

I believe Tennessee allowed sport hunting and the hog problem was growing so fast they outlawed it. Unsure the current population status of hogs there or how successful they have been.
