Well guys I pulled the trigger and brought the les baer BOSS home today

I wish more custom 1911 smiths used the A1 back strap. So much more comfortable in my hands.

An A1 that’s dehorned and blended into the frame is pretty comfortable. My first custom build was that way.

Bears aren't meant to be "refined" but rather a tool and that's about it. You DO get a little dehorning on the SRP.

Exactly, if you want soft edges and refinement, you’d better stick to Wilson, Nighthawk, and Brown. Baers and Guncrafters are pretty utilitarian.
