I had my eyes out for some lever guns several years ago. Really wanted a .38/.357 Marlin, but no luck unless they were very expensive. Found a Marlin 336 in 44 mag at a gun show and bought it. Then found a new 1894 Marlin in 38/357. Haven't shot it all that much, and based on prices I saw earlier this year, it may be worth 3x what I paid for it. However, I don't see me letting it go.
