My second favorite .22 pistol was a Glock 17 with an Advantage Arms .22 conversion slide/barrel. My favorite is a Buckmark I picked up on this board's classifieds.

I have had both the Victory and the MK IV lite, I kept the Victory and put the Tandemkross Victory trigger in it and a Halo charging ring. I loved the MK IV it was great, added the Tandemkross trigger, Halo charging ring and a game changer comp. The difference came down to weight for me and the victory weighed a bit more and I was able to steady it easier one handed for precision target.

I know this may be an off the wall suggestion, but how about a Sig P250-22? They're $289.99 at CDNN and, with X-change kits, the pistol can be converted to anything from 9 mm to .45 ACP. https://www.cdnnsports.com/sig-sauer-p250c-22lr.html?___SID=U#.WtQO3pch2Uk
