So in my wife’s uncle passed away he had tons of stuff that was firearm related. I ended up with a small box of stuff and I’m having a hard time identifying these two items. I think one has to do with an M1 Garand conversion for 308 and the other one is a bolt but I have no idea what they were out of. Can anyone clarify this? Thank you in advance
The top item looks like a .30 cal. broken case extractor. This is one I have that is made by a different manufacturer.

Bottom item looks like a "flat bolt" for an M1 carbine possibly?
