I just got a call from my brother in Va. My stepdad passed away this morning at the age of 97. I've got a long drive in the morning.

Reminds me that I need to call an old friend. I believe he is either 97 or 98. WW2 vet. One of the best, most honest men I’ve ever known.

Thanks guys. My stepdad was a WWII Navy vet. I don't remember the letters but, he was on a small about 110' long ship. I think it was an LSC but, I'm not sure. He was the electrician that mostly monitored the sine wave of the generator and made adjustments but, he of course repaired other things too. He was a jack of all trades kind of guy that taught me a lot. I won't feel the loss like my mom, they were married for about 62 years.
