Bottled Pearl from the liquor store with those puzzles on the lid. Rebus? Man, that was some really bad beer but at the time about all I could afford from the liquor store so didn't have to drink 3.2.
The most I could afford in the 70’s was the Safeway branded Brown Derby. $2.99 a case with a puzzle in the lid for the kids to solve while out tent camping. Nasty stuff but got the desired effects.
Got to tour the Pearl and Lone Star brewery’s in San Antonio when a teen during a visit to the Hemisphere that was held there.
As a side note, AT&T had a display there of wireless communication between San Antonio and Chicago where the call could be made while looking at the other person. First time in history. Precursor to the cell phone and this was 1968.
As another side note to @swampratt, this was two years after your 57 was built.
Cell phones are old technology. Embrace it man!
