I'm no wheel gun expert, but it's hard to believe somebody could pick this .357 up for under $400.

Just the nature of an auction. Sometimes things go towards the low end of market price, sometimes towards the high end.

When I viewed the auction I noted it has 5+ hrs to go; a lot can happen in 5 hrs. As far as to if the current price is high or low, well that's in the eyes of the beholder.
