Anyone here in Tulsa mess with or work on lathes?

I've changed the fuse, I've changed the motor brushes and nothing.

I was turning a pen at 1400 -1500 rpms and it just stopped. Not sure why anyways, its not coming on.

If you work on these deals please let me know, I'm about to give up...

The only thing that jumps out at me is the big difference in wear between the brushes --- that doesn't seem like it'd be right to me. I've got that same unit, granted a much older one, and it's been rock solid as my primary brass processing tool for reloading. If you have another switch you could swap in, that might be one relatively easy option. Even borrowing one from a different piece of equipment for the test might provide some more information.

Does it have a fold down shield over the chuck with a safety switch? Know those get out of adjustment and you have to fold it down a time or two to get them to connect. Does it have a replaceable automotive style fuse that may have blown? I have a mill that has that feature.
