I am so sorry and I wish I had the words of comfort for you but what I have learned in ministry and being a hospice chaplain is that there aren't any.
However I do know the One who comforts.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Joel, I am so sorry for your loss my friend. I can't even imagine the pain at which you feel and the depth of loss you suffered. A good wife is a man's best friend. My wife and I will be in prayer for you through this difficult time. May God's grace and mercy keep you and bring you peace and may you have all the memories of your love and life to comfort you.
