Noodling around OKC?

I think that there’s some Italian restaurants around OKC and you probably don’t have to go to a pond or creek either.

Ah man I really really hope I don’t find a body, that would surely ruin the sport. I haven’t seen any snapping turtles here yet… so I’m hoping they aren’t very common, because that would suck big time

I went with group of noodles, ONE TIME. Never got out of the boat.

My cousin finds a good hole, reaches in and a beaver almost took his thumb off.
A little later and his buddy grabbed a wad of water moccasins and got bit.

We was done. I'm fine with rod&reel, jug line or trot line.

Trust me, we have plenty of snapping turtles. Mainly this kind.

I really enjoy catfishing the local ponds but would like to try some hand fishing

I think I’ll stick to using bluegill for cut bait

I see a ton of sliders in all the ponds but have yet to see a snapper. Do they generally hide in the water or do they hang out I land and logs?

In the water is where I have mostly seen them.
