It’s was about 300 yards in a big circle but not too bad. First time using the Montec and I won’t be using those anymore. I’ve only used QAD Exodus heads for as long as I can remember and broke bones and every time had a complete pass through and never tore one up. If the shot hits in the right place it doesn’t really matter what head you choose. But if they jump the shot and move a little then I want a broad head that will pass through when plan b happens. Not wanting or trying to start a debate about broadheads. Just sharing my experience. Most broadheads nowadays are pretty good anyways.
But I’m super stoked to say the least. She went from cheerleader Friday night to deer killer Saturday morning. Now we got to get her a buck.
That's a good trek. I agree, a field point could kill them with proper shot placement but you need a durable broadhead you trust, too. High five, dad!
