I have two 19s and have never had a problem out of either one. I've seen some negative reviews on the 36 but I have never owned or shot one. (I do like the 30sf and my favorite is the 23).

A G23 will always be better than a G19, due to the fact you can always convert down to a 9mm OR .357sig.
