Funny how that works when they want the panic to be over because they've accomplished what they wanted to. They are also say now that any return of covid in the fall wont be as dangerous. Right...

I laughed watching the NYC Police Captain (I think) being interviewed on FOX. He had his mask on upside down - the metal nose piece for the mask was under his chin.

... even homemade masks can dramatically reduce transmission rates if enough people wear them in public.
“Our analyses support the immediate and universal adoption of face masks by the public,” said Richard Stutt, who co-led the study at Cambridge.

It is a serious disease, worth taking steps to avoid. Strokes are one real possibility.
If severely ill COVID-19 patients are fortunate enough to recover, it’s unclear whether they will continue to experience clots and if the organs that were damaged by the clotting disorder will heal.

“We don’t know what the impact these clots have had on [patients'] cardiac function, how their heart is functioning, or how their brain is functioning,” Parcha explained. “We would see an impact of that in the coming time.”

COVID is heating up in Northwest Arkansas.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Washington Regional Medical System’s Chief Operating Officer issues a statement about the “serious public health emergency” in Northwest Arkansas.

In a statement released to KNWA/FOX24, Washington Regional has seen a 170% increase in the number of COVID-19 tests performed at its screening clinics, a 156% increase in calls to the Washington Regional COVID-19 Hotline and a 350% increase in the number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Remember when people said it would go away when the weather warned up and folks spent more time outdoors?
Well, now it's mid June and look where most of the sharpest increases are occurring....Sun belt states where people are spending more time indoors to escape the heat.
Utah, Arizona, Texas, the Carolinas.
